P90X and a Plastic Full of Crackers

Have you heard of P90x? If you haven’t yet then don’t research about it – unless you’re really interested in getting into some serious shit. This post is about that, it’s an exercise and I hate it.  If you despise exercise too then just don’t bother reading the rest of this post. But if you’re already into deep with your relationship with food & you’d like to get fitter and healthier then stay on brother/sister.

This isn’t my first rodeo with this home fitness system. For 90 days I have sweat and cried buckets. It worked for me 2 years ago (a long time ago ??) and I don’t see any reason not to try it again. You see, I’ve been procrastinating a lot. I grew fat and overweight. I weigh around 86kgs (190 lbs) one week ago, and it’s not a pleasant sight I tell you. So my goal is to reach an ideal weight of 74 kgs (163 lbs ).

Tony Horton’s P90x is a program that includes 12 intense workouts with the use of resistance and body-weight training, cardio, plyometrics, ab work, martial arts, and yoga, along with a nutrition plan, fitness guide, and workout calendar. Sounds a lot, right? I’ll be doing that for 90 days. Check out this schedule.

By the way, this is not an advertisement. I just enjoyed following this fitness guide. I already started about a week into P90x and as of now I noticed some changes. I’m not kidding, I feel lighter compared before. It might be psychological – I don’t know. I won’t know unless I check my weight again two more weeks from now.  But the most important thing is I already started. How about you? Are you thinking of doing the same kind of fitness training? Oh and another thing, aside from P90x I also started changing my diet. No more high carbs and sugar  – I’m following the Military diet. Here’s how it looks like:
